Hei hei!

The sun starts to shine in Bergen lately, and it is a great time to learn more about chemistry!

You are listening to Juan and Diego – two current postdocs.

This episode is focused on Diego’s research on natural products of sustainable organisms living in areas of hydrothermal vents from deep-sea . More specifically, focusing on an ecological and pharmacological approach, using metabolomics, bio-guided fractionation, modern mass spectrometry and NMR analyses. We will also talk about the importance of having hobbies outside the lab and for Diego, how amazing ultimate frisbee is (there’s an amazing team here in Bergen as well).

Enjoy!
