We partner with Global Voices to bring citizen journalism to SEAS and also to spread SEAS voices to the world.
SEAS (Shaping European Research Leaders for Marine Sustainability) has interests in all marine topics, as sustainability is vital in every part of how the ocean is used or exploited. This means we care about making inclusive, meaningful, collaboration-based connections with society – we believe everyone is a beneficiary of our work because everyone is affected by what happens in our global ocean. We are very happy therefore about our new friendship with the citizen journalist network Global Voices. Citizens’ media is one way to reach society directly and also for more people to connect with us. We equally look forward to learning from citizen journalists around the world and giving them a voice through our platform. Follow this space for more!
